We’re ready for the crowds!   Our wreaths are up, the tree is decorated and we’ve got our Ho! Ho! Ho!  Welcome mat in front of the door.  It’s finally a little cooler here – which is nature’s way of saying it’s time to start thinking about all those gifts you’re supposed to send out in a few weeks!!  I’m happy to tell you that we’ve got some BIG PLANS for Black Friday.  Starting at 7:00 am, we’ll have sales that you’ll be wow’d by.  I’m guessing your list of people you need to buy for is long and so is our list of sales.  So bring a friend, and your list and stop by on Friday… We’ll be ready to go!

Topsail Island Tree Lighting November 17, 2010

Every year, Surf City hosts a great tree lighting ceremony here on Topsail Island.  The festivities begin this Saturday at 6:00 at the Soundside Park – which is conveniently located right next to the shop.  So, as you finish singing with the crowd after the tree has been lit and the kids have gotten their pictures taken with Santa (Yes!  Santa will be there…), stop over to check out our great gift ideas.  We can cover anyone on your list – from teachers, coworkers and Bunco-mates to your kids and your BFF.  Our super-cute new Christmas wrap is also available for our complimentary gift wrap.  See you soon!

Let’s get the obvious out of the way.  I love shopping.  For me – every day is a little like Christmas.  Boxes come in off of the truck, we open them and Ta-Dah!  Something arrives that is more amazing in person than in the catalog.  Or something we had to wait for what seems like forever to get is finally here.   I was going to go on and on about the downsides – but I’d be wasting words, and you wouldn’t believe me anyway.  So don’t get scared by my over-exuberance when we get the next big thing in the store.  Don’t judge me when I freak out because you have to love this new thing as much as I do.  Just sit back and let me window shop for you.
